LoadRunner is an automated load testing tool that allows testing the application before, during and after deployment. This course is designed to give you a firm foundation in basic load testing tasks. This course also focuses on planning, creating and enhancing Virtual User (Vuser) scripts using VuGen - scripting tool used to record and run user actions on the application to be tested-for load testing in the web environment. The following components of LoadRunner – LR Controller and LR Analysis are used to plan for an effective load test. Students will create and run load test scenarios using the LR Controller. The LR Analysis component is used to analyze load test results. Students will also learn to interpret LoadRunner analysis graphs and achieve your load testing goals. All topics are supported by hands-on labs designed to provide you with the knowledge necessary to load test your system using LoadRunner.
You will learn:
- Planning an effective load test
- Creating Web Virtual users using VuGen
- Parameterize scripts to handle user input data
- Scheduling and executing scenarios
- Using run-time settings
- Performance monitors
- Results analysis
Pre-Requisites: High-level knowledge of the Web and/or client/server environment. Networking course.
